Catherine the Princess of Wales has shared a heartfelt message about her annual Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey on December 6th.
She emphasized the importance of slowing down during the festive season, urging everyone to embrace the spirit of the season with open hearts, fostering love, kindness, and forgiveness.
The princess opened up about her challenging journey following major abdominal surgery and a cancer diagnosis, describing love as the greatest gift we can receive. The service will celebrate the resilience and compassion of individuals across the UK, showcasing unsung heroes who have gone above and beyond to help others during difficult times.
The Abbey will be adorned with sustainable festive decorations, a kindness tree, and performances by artists like Olivia Dean, Gregory Porter, Paloma Faith, and the Westminster Abbey choir.
The event is part of a broader initiative with 15 Community Carol Services taking place across the UK.
